I began to write the song in summer after a family discussion of what is "home" and what it means to each one. It is the on going theme, since my lover and I used to work and still live internationally. And as we have definite plans to move abroad sooner or later. And what means "abroad" being abroad anyways?
So, to a mother it is not easy letting her child go and seeing the family split in a way. However the closer christmas came, the more the song was about christmas time and what our mothers all did back then to make us children smile and be happy. So I found the answer. Home is no place. It´s the memory of a loving person. On christmas time, I promised my mom, home is she. A home where both we can go, whenever we want. As long it shall last

The original title of this song is "Being to be", which will be on my album. With similar lyrics, a different piano play and an additional chorus. Very beautiful.
I sang "Home Is You" constantly with tears in my eyes and a certain fragility in my voice. I decided not to sing so personal songs anymore, as it just rips my heart out. The result would be a dead Bearly. The german version will be posted on my second channel only.
