The song is called "Cherry Blooms" or "The Cherry Blossom Song" in English, and I think that in Japanese it is called "Sakura".

I have not yet had my doll appraised. The next time the "antique road show" comes through town again, I will have it appraised, The video does not give this doll justice. She is so beautiful and delicate. Yours was $4.95 for the same exact doll? You got a bargain on her. I paid $20 for mine back in the 80's. If I ever get her appraised, I will post it right here.

It sounds kind of like "The song of youth" but also sounds like "Azuma Jishi..." I can't tell witch, because of the speed of the song, and the "ting" of the notes.

Thanks so much for your reply. I will check it out. Yes, the speed may be very well "off" since I do not have the key to wind her up correctly.
