  • question when i come to the encryption window (with the following options 1. recipient keys 2. passphase 3. PGP self decryption archieve etc.) i am hit with a warning message - PGP could not find one or more of your master keys. Please go to the masters key panel of the PGP options?? i cannot find the masters key panel anyway.. can you help thanks.

  • I got here by my security class teacher, I been using PGP for years.

    Good show by the way.

  • @rdt1970 oh the irony

  • @scotland2019 Where did you get that information? PGP is OPEN SOURCE, so everyone can see it's source code. If you think that it has a backdoor, go ahead, download the source code, locate the backdoor, and THEN come and post bullshit around :)

  • pgp is 100% pointless sine it has a backdoor key inserted into it . which means the verage couldnt acess it but if a law eforcemnt etc could in about 2 seconds!!

  • "pretty good privacy"?? F that. i want EXCELLENT privacy

  • truecrypt is totaly free an gnupgp try it it is freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • There are so many variables and possible vectors of attack. Just one person having "a look" cannot determine if the code isn't crackable.

PGP source code's been "open" for years and everyone in the encryption world can look at it and test it and attempt to expose vulnerabilities.

The code from a do-it-yourself project has not really been put to the test of years of analysis by many people.

That's the difference. PGP has gone through a lot of real world testing.

  • Truecrypt is best.

  • truecrypt is free buy it
