When I first got a taste of their crust punk on The Cult Is Alive, I was really dumbfounded at first that it was so far away from their black metal sound....then I listened to some of their early mid albums like "Plaugewielder" and "Panzerfaust" and realized they had a lot of crusty elements into it already...They also got me into checking out, and enjoying, crust punk

Wow 1787 views on this awesome song, I can't believe this really is under the radar. I looked it up out of nostalgia already. Darkthrone nailed this album! I heard Canadian metal was actually for South American fans for liking good Canadian metal in Darkthrone's eyes, and not for Canadians! I don't know if this is true but I'm Canadian and I hope it is, I concur South Americans have really good tastes in music!
