  • I have a problem with mixing my volumes on here, i am recording rap/hip-hop. i use a stereo track for the instrumental and one mono track for the vocals, what levels should each be at so the vocals are hear but with out the whole song being too quiet? are there exact volume levels? in the past i have just used the normalize effect on all of it

  • @Bobrm1989 first i would recomend making your vocals into a stero track for a more professional sound. To do this duplicate the mono vocal track and set on all the way on left and the other all the way on the right then do a quick mix and mix them together, they will now be a stereo track. As for your levels just use your volume adjustment on the left side of the vocal track to get them where you want them, once you make the mp3 everything will be perfect.

  • when ever i try to do something with effect its whited out i cant click it

  • You must have a portion of the audio hi-lighted to apply an effect. Take your cursor tool and what ever you hi-light will have the effect applied to it, thats why you cant apply an effect be cause nothing is hi-lighted.

  • what song it is?

  • I made this song myself

  • My initial reaction to this video is that it hard to take it seriously. If you can't even normalize your audio before sharing the video with your viewers, why would I think you know anything about sound production?

  • u didnt make this song i heard it b4

  • I get a question on mastering vocals should I master it Acapella or with the beat well there be a difference aka this is for hip hop music
