Some of my friends asked me to share regarding my personal Journey with stage four terminal cancer, my faith and testimony on Sunday August 22nd at Ephraim Church of the Bible in Ephraim Utah.
The reason I was asked to share was due to finding out August 10th, from my doctors that the cancer has spread further to my brain, to my chest and the lining of my lungs. The new prognosis I was given on August 10th 2010, is if the new current radiation and chemo treatments work, I have approximately 1-2 years left to live , if it doesn't I have approximately 2 or more months.
I took the opportunity to let those around me who are close and that I love, know my deep appreciation for them all. Many never get the chance to express their heart before they pass on, so I consider myself blessed by God for the chance to say some final words.
I have this posted the share (parts 1 and 2) for those who wanted to attend, but due to schedules and distance were unable to. I know that you were there in spirit, and took comfort and courage in that.
I also took the opportunity to make a public admission and amends to my daughter Emily, and her mother Karen, that I have been desiring to make to them face to face for some time.
I have learned in the midst of all this there is strength, hope and serenity that comes through trusting in God: And that every day is a gift, and every moment of breath is from His Grace and Mercy.
