Otpor! (Serbian Cyrillic: Отпор!, English: Resistance!) was a non-partisan civic youth movement in Serbia that employed nonviolent struggle as their course of action. They were credited for their role in the successful overthrow of Slobodan Milošević in October 2000.

as a serbian, I can say that Ivan Marovic is part of "OTPOR" organization, which is sponsored from CIA, was used by CIA to overthrow president Milosevic Slobodan in Serbia in 2000. @dragszes my understanding is the Milosevic was a commie (barely, and corrupt), but opposed to takeover by western financial global capitalists, so he was destroyed by Soros in the name of "Open Society", the Karl Popper term for capitalism.

So now instead of state communism, they have state capitalism and MASSIVE PUBLIC DEBT, combined with unemployment due to eliminating all those "inefficient" state-subsidized companies.

Major US corps are even more subsidized and protected, but not labor.

History is bloated with instances of student "resistance" groups of every description and many uprisings of oppressed people had nothing whatsoever to do with students or universities.
