The process begins by removing the top layer of concrete with a hand grinder and a walk behind sandblaster. This opens the pores in the concrete for a solid adhesion between the floor and the epoxy.

  • @firmechicano831 There are different grades of epoxy application so it's a little difficult to say without knowing what yours will be.

  • I just got a quote today at $5 a sqft. What you guys think about the price?

  • @ekoboss The floor was 17 years old when they epoxied over the joint. There really hadn't been any movement in the floor at all so I suppose they felt it was safe to do.

  • why did they cover up the expansion joint with epoxy isn't it going to crack when it's all finished and done or what

  • Thanks.

  • Your video is very helpful.
