Of course our perceptions differ-we are different people with different life experiences which have coloured our unique perspectives. As Byron Katie has said, EVERYONE judges and everyone is judged in this life. We are judged by what we do and say,and sometimes,when we elect to do that in a public forum, we risk receiving feedback from people who do not necessarily share our views.The Secret holds no credence for me, it was simply a stumble-upon.

I could have sworn that when I watched your video earlier today,one of the slides was NOT,as it is now, "$5 million in the bank". WHY do you see the need to share that kind of personal detail!? It risks diminishing you in others' eyes, making you appear vain and shallow. Perhaps you are simply a little naive,perhaps you were raised to speak this way,I don't know. I do realize from your comments that we do approach humility differently...

I have to be a dissenting voice here - I'm glad to be the kind of person I am - that is,humble; public self-promotion is not where I'm at. To affirm oneself and one's life to ONESELF...I get that. But why the need for "Look at ME...aren't I wonderful"?
What strikes me most about the sham that is 'The Secret' is its blatant focus on money and material goods..."only the best for me because I deserve it!"...that's where your initially pretty video,unfortunately, became trite.
