Dawn of War II Beta Eldar vs Space Marines Part 1

Me playing Dawn of War II Beta. Using Fraps witch fucks everything up cause it makes me put the graphics on lowest settings. Specs: (P4 3.0ghz 2gb ram Ati Radieon Saphire 3850 512mb ram Windows Xp Proffestional)

for me, they r the best race, and i really get inspired when i play them, like by there phycic ability and the teleporting and the mystery.

Im playing dark crusade. As the space marines. And im having trouble versing the eldar. They keep going invisible. What unit should i use to detect them??

So far i understand that I can use the turrets to spot the eldar. Anything else?

Ohh almost forgot the most important part-- i force the resolution down to 800x600 and i have anti aliasing off. i dont know why, but most new games look very good even without anti aliasing

so i say i get between 15 and 30fps with the camera close up in a battle. Works for me ;D

@Georocs7 Well i have a 5 year old laptop =D (ATI mobility radeon x1400, 1.66 ghz dual core processor, 2gb RAM 120gb hard drive, ddr2) and i can run this game wit a decent frame rate, likely thanks to my dual core. I have model quality and textures on high, lighting on medium (makes a huge difference- low lights look ugly, medium looks sexy), physics on, while everything else is on its lowest setting. Wut eats up ur graphics card is really just post processing and shadows, so those are off.

You know, I just played as the Far Seer after giving it some thought (always hated her till now) and her "guide" ability allowed me to take down with just one guardian squad (the seer didn't get into combat) a: Shuriken Cannon Platform, and another Guardian Squad. I had like 2 guardians left but they won! :D

What is a good graphics card say which will run this wiyhout the choppy gameplsy. i have a 7050 geforce, will a 9400GT do it.
