Norma Commorato at the FOCUS Press Conference

CMC Media Group recently received a grant to refurbish the facade of our new studio on North Meridian Street. The grant is funded by FOCUS, a partnership between LISC, the Central Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the Indianapolis Coalition for Neighborhood Development and the City of Indianapolis.

On Wednesday, May 28th, FOCUS held a press conference in historic Irvington to announce three facade grants, one of which was awarded to CMC Media Group. Norma Commorato, President and CEO of CMC, spoke briefly at the press conference.

The City of Indianapolis and Local Initiatives Support Corporation's Commercial Façade Rebate Program provides funds for business and property owners who engage in visible improvements to the front of their property. The money will be spent on buildings primarily on North Meridian Street, Fountain Square, Irvington, East 10th Street and Massachusetts Avenue. Over nine years, the program has awarded 200 facade grants to help bolster urban neighborhoods.
