PS: Yes I played every single Tales game and this one had the worse battle system IMO.

Sadly most people views the greatness and beauty of a game based on their cg's and advance graphics and disregard the story and plot of the game. That is the reason that the Tales game are not as popular as those of other games in the market.

I am a Tales fan and I also played other games that I can say that has more plausible graphics than the latter. HOwever what made me loyal to the Tales series is the heart warming stories that also have a moral lesson.

ToL would be the single best Tales game ever if they had kept Symphonia's battle system, and if the English voice actors hadn't stopped recording halfway through the game. XP

Shame to see such a great possibility for a game fall like that.

@otomon5 ToD PS1 is the worst IMO. ToL had a great battle system. The only thing I didn't like was the music but I hear that that's just me.

The story, music and graphics more than made up for the repetitive gameplay. Seriously, the gameplay wasn't the problem, it's the lack of enemy variety that in my opinion made the battles not so enjoyable. Other than that, this game gets a 7.5 because of excellent content. It loses 3.5 points due to lack of enemy variety.

yea...for some random reason Norma is always like the last one standing'' I was outta everything so I ended up having to leave it to norma...it was painful to watch..cause I mean it took forever!! for her to die....and she was so close to defeating the boss....
