@mentalm12 America America..blah blah blah. No body really cares about america, Australia did all the engineering, america just let us copy the motor to make it cheaper. America puts 4 people of it's own in a 6 person race, Australia is a small country, let us have this victory.

@mentalm12 Besides, Holden designed the wheel base for the new camaro.

Good to know. thanks.

The Vauxhall Monaro VXR only ever got the LS1 and LS2 engines. The Pontiac GTO only ever got LS1 and LS2 engines. There were some Monaros built by Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) with the LS7 engine but they were not exported to the UK or the USA. The Holden VE Commodore (rebadged as Pontiac G8 in the USA) is available in Australia with the LS7 engine.

The car he was talking about had the ZO6 7.0 they don't get that motor over there. BTW the have this car in the UK too as the Vauxhall Monaro.

same car lol

Yes, you are wrong. Please tell me, what is a "GTO" engine? GM did not do anything, it was Holden that engineered the LS1 and LS2 engines into the RWD V-body. They did not need to modify the chassis, they were sold in the UK with the same engines as in Australia.
pure aussie brute power boys ur glad we shipped our holden monaro to ya rnt u :)
