Material Characterization of BluePhantom using Hexapod System as a Standard MTS

This experiment is conducted to characterize the material properties of biopsy phantoms. The needle mounted on the robotic platform is driven at controlled rates and inserted at specific poitns into phantoms. The resulting forces as measured by the force transducer at the top of the platform is recorded and used to develop mathematical models for the material.
