I saw this BEAUTIFUL film today in Melbourne, Australia. It left me teary eyed and choking on emmotion. A must see that deserves every single award it has been given!!!

"Weekend " crushed me just like bbm did exactly 6 years ago - but for different reasons.This one took me back to how things were between me & my bf the 1rst months of our relationship .The movie grows in you without even realising it,reaches the end and leaves you feeling numb.And then the end titles song comes to finish what's left of you...A big BRAVO to the director that has made a film so simple but yet so powerful and real! Credit goes to Cullen&New of course for their acting!

what is hipster about a story of two contemporary british gay men? did you see the film? i did. i found it touching and realistic. nothing artsy,
please keep in mind, there are stories out there that extend beyond your own personal experience. this is the main reason people seek out stories in any media; to enlighten, entertain, to relate to. if it didn't speak to you, by all means either find something that does, or even better, create something of your own to share with others.
