This video of "You Are My Lover" together with Gethsemane was sent as an audition to the BBC for the programme "Your Country Needs You". In this programme the act for the United Kingdom for Eurovision 2009 in Moscow (Russia) was chosen. Jade won with "My Time".
Lawrence Gray took part in the Malta Song for Europe 6 times & was always one of the finalists. He came twice 2nd with: The Right Time & Why Not, once 3rd & twice 4th.

Over the years, Lawrence Gray has taken part in various television programmes & has sung duets with other Maltese artists, including Chiara who came 2nd with "Angel" in 2005 & 3rd with "The One That I Love" in 1998, at Eurovision & represented Malta again with "What if We", & Kevin Borg who won the Swedish Pop idol in December 2008, with the songs "With Every Bit of Me", "Living on a Prayer" & "You're the Voice".
I believe greatly in Lawrence Gray's talent & voice. If Lawrence were living in England, he'd be able to take part in programmes like the X factor, Btitains Got Talent, Pop Idol & Any Dream Will Do. He would certainly wow the judges & be discovered as Leona Lewis, Connie Talbot (age 6), Paul Potts, Alexandra Burke, Susan Boyle, Shaheen Jafargholi, Jamie Pugh, George Sampson, Faryl Smith, Will Young, Gareth Gates, Connie Fisher & Lee Mead were discovered. I hope that some day he will be discovered by somebody like Simon Cowell, Clive Davis, David Foster, Cameron Mackintosh or LLoyd Webber.
Lawrence Gray has a tenor's voice & has often been compared to great tenors like those in il Divo, Mario Lanza & Bocelli.
