Commander Fitzpatrick took his case in front of a 3 man grand jury on Dec 1'st 2009. Results of the hearing will be released Dec 7'th 2009.

@jiga20001 The American Federal Govt was supposed to limited from "running our lives". It was to be nothing more then a simple representation of the people that gathered once a year in the fall to balance the budget unless military issues popped up. They weren't even supposed to be paid. The states were supposed to govern and set laws among themselves like individually united countries.

The federal Govt was to keep the separately united colonies from waging war, boycotting etc on each other, and manage simple commerce. It was a brilliant measure set up in a way that should not of become corrupt as it did. It was a system that left the Govt beholden to the people.

Within the last century, corruption has deeply seeded itself into our political system, and now we face the results of it.
