@208327650 I just grew up in Yugoslavia in the 70s so I would have no clue:))
I think people exaggerate the 'regime' word, it was a system, & like any system it had downfalls..
but it had good parts too, free education, free university, medical and dental, my mum got maternity leave, everyone could afford holidays, free childcare so not all was bad.. ice skaters were always a bit flashy and the ballet dancers from what I remember though:) And they always won the medals! yaay!

Oh, I'm afraid to know what Galina has said, when she found out he's words....
-
@skyemcleod1 he's not touring on stars on ice because they won't let him...the organizers/sponsers or whatnot said he wasn't "family friendly"...which is just BS
-
I agree. Galina has an unerring taste in costume. She rightly and immediatly spotted the fact that the costume was not perfect for Johnny. The one he wore at the Olympics was awsome and not kitch. Galina you are incredible.

@petrangelika oh,yes, I too adore him both as a person & incredible skater. His "The Swan"(it's on Youtube) was gorgeous--but all thro' the programme, the commentators never shut up! I'd love to see him perform live--but I don't think he's touring with Stars on Ice :( anyway-cheers! xx

I like the costume very much.
I adore Johnny. I thought his costume was beautiful. I can't wait for his book to come out. I wish the judges had given him a bigger score at the 2010 Olympics. He is a big draw.

I wouldn't mess with her either. Johnny's athletic but I have a feeling she could totally kick his ass. The woman survived Soviet Russia.
