On a very nice winter's day in East Tennessee we decided to head out to the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum to see their newly required ex-CSX/L&N U23B. What we got was ex-SOU GP30 #2561 heading up a freight train with some cars headed out to the NS interchange at Blair and the U23B (still in orange CSX MoW paint btw) heading up the passenger train back to Oak Ridge. We also were able to get footage of the #2561 heading light back to Oak Ridge behind the passenger train. Enjoy!

  • Great video!! Good dueling horn action, the ex-Southern RR FP7 M5R24 vs the Airchime K5LA. Only fly in the ointment was the Prime at the end...gotta love your Nathan's!!!
