  • @robynbirde Dear Mommy, I finally learn how to speak and write like you said I should, that I should speak and write with the syntax of a educated adult since you've always chided me for acting like a unruly, air-headed illiterate. And guess what, recently I even got to challenge a very well read tuber on Youtube in one of Auntie Renee's video. I understand that Aunt Renne's singing is really lousy, but that tuber's got no right pointing out Aunt Renne's numerous deficiencies.

  • @robynbirde Aunt Renee's arse belongs to mine. Mom, please forgive me. I didn't mean to convert to my old habit again, but that "mannail888" is kind of deep. So I challenge his/her mispellings such as "than" instead of "then", obviously a slip in typing, but I simply magnify it, his/her assertion "pseudo arts from genuine one", though truthfully I didn't know what the heck does it mean. How dare he claimed we "Flemingites don't possess "the dare to ask why". Yours, "robynbirde"

  • @robynbirde Okay, I've looked at your page and I'm going to guess that English isn't your first language, in which case I apologize for ragging on it. But you should really try to tone down the arrogant, snobby way that you're coming across.

  • @mannail888 I'm sorry mannail888, but your attempts to set yourself up as some sort of intelligent, daring, and erudite commenter just look pathetic when you can't even write properly. And I quote: "shamful", "than" instead of 'then', "pseudo arts from genuine one", and finally, "the dare to ask why". The 'dare', eh? Do yourself a favour and take your silly nonsense elsewhere.

  • @holywells Thanks for the heads up on Hayley. She does have the best version of the dozens I've listened to. I already had Celtic Women as one of my favorites with "You Raise Me Up", and I singled out Hayley who is just magnificent and out of this world gorgeous!

  • Nice, but I prefer Hayley Westenra's warm, rich, and soothing vocal tones for this piece. Merry Christmas to all.

  • Wonderful phrasing and control! So sad....so lovely! So true to the lyric.

  • Wonderful performance. Excellent italian language pronounce. Not heavy, but enough light and very clean voice as it is needed in Baroque arias. Brava Renée Fleming !

An italian fan of Georg Friederich Händel, maybe the best composer of the Italiana Opera' history.

  • what a beautiful version
