Assalamo Alikum,We Ahle sunnah 100% Agree on this that Syedna Ali (RA) and his family is included in Ahle Bait. The Word Ahle Bait is properly for Prophets (PBUH) Wives and for all those,to whom Beloved prophet (PBUH) included in this list ,as Sydna Bilal (RA).Regarding The Sourh Ahzab Ayet # 33 Please note that this Sourah is Makki Sourah and Syedna Ali (RA) Married to Syeda Fatima (RA) in Madina. The Shia scholers dont have right to take out Prophet(PBUH) wives from Ahle bait list. Thanks

@ThePanjtani1 JAZAKALLAH for your reply, if Hazrat Ali rda being a LION of ALLAH and having the lakub of ASAD ULLAH could help the claipha's because he didnt want bloodshed etc what are you shia's after 1400 years doing? are you going agaisnt your Imam?? os would it be correc to say the real folowers of Ali rda are Ahle sunnah wal Jamah who have respect Ali rda and clauphas and maintianed Islam as Hazrat Ali rda (even though we dont believe ur version is true)... please do re-search????

PRECISELY,HAZRAT MOLA ALI A.S CANT LET HIS RELATIONS DETERIORATE WITH CALIPHS WHICH WOULD MEAN BLOOD SHED AMONG THE MUSLIMS OR MORE SPECIFICALLY MOLA'S FOLLOWERS AND THE CALIPHS!!!!!!!! AND AS A MATTER OF FACT HE HELPED THEM BECAUSE THEIR PROBLEMS WERE THE STATE'S PROBLEM AND SUCH A GREAT MAN CANT LEFT THE UMMAH ALONE WHO'S IMPORTANCE AND GREAT CHARACTER WAS AND IS HIGHLIGHTED AND KNOWN BY EVERYONE! @suzannechristos fthe famous hadeeth you are talking about has been transmitted through many chains, the 6 Sunni hadeeth books and many other Sunni hadeeth books backt he one that says QURAN & SUNNAH, and the most important aspect my broter is that Mowla Ali rda himself read prayer behind claipha's and helped them in there troubles.That is enough for me as a Muslim to believe in Caliphas.Also Hazrat Ali rda also married his brother wife to Hazrat Abu bakar rda after death of his brother SEARCH!

@suzannechristos first of all brother, this debate is no debate its a shame ploy!!! Sunni Schlors first dont keep the beard this guy has as it is not the sunnah? secondly who is this sunni schlor that no one seesm to know!!!! the Sunni argument about the Family fo Prophet Mohammed swas is very strong proven fromt he Quran and Hadeeth itself. The shia's even have habit of selecting the Ahlul Bayt and rejecting Imams like Imam Zaid rda, Imam yahya rda and Imam Ismail rda who were all ahle bait!

@suzannechristos and brother please go and do your re-search, if you call a person SAHABA then go and search the definition of a SAHABA, what criteria one must be to be a SAHABI of Rasool swas. Haroon Al Rashid?? who cares about him, we are talking about people who have written with great regards to SAHABA in 2nd century or infact the Ahlul bayt praises of Sahaba.. we dont need people like Haroon Rashid to give us Sahaba status.. Ali rda prayed behind caliphas that is enough for Muslims!!HAQ ALI

@suzannechristos brother, I have read Tirmidi, and please learn the rule of debate first, when books like Shahih Bhuhari and Shaih Muslim have different story narrated to Tirimidi we take them in order, anyway regarding who is from family of Prophet Mohammed swas, then the wives are included, please dont just read Surah 33:33 also read verses that are before it to get the whole understand, we Ahle Sunnah dont just pick and match, read all and understand all. So many greatets alima have said same

if the sunni bros will do proper research themselves abt the sahaba's they will realise there are some who were really great and others who were really rich and corrupt!!!yes some changed as soon as the prophet p.b.u.h passed away which is inhuman!

read abt haroon al rashid,the rightly guided in wikipedia,all his life was full of wine,women, riches,poetry telling and the list goes on...is this the rightly guided on whom alaf layla was made??wat kind of rightly guided example he was??

@jasimisbest2 plz u read ...he is not talking history...he is talking from quran surah ahzab 33:33,if u understand tirmeedhi is also a sunni scholar and clearly stated that it is true,plus umm salamah asking here that am i one of them,as she is prophets wife,he says no u r my wife but these are my ahl al bayt...open your eyes brother!!! can someone be so blind?prophets famous hadith..i leave behind two things QURAN and AHL AL BAYT!the sunni scholar is quoting poetry as reply????funny really
