Thank you, brother/sister!? You exmplified, rather well, another point regarding David vs. Joseph Smith, on the subject of sin which I clearly did not. Thanks again! Praise God for the brethren and sisteren (jk) in the body of Christ!

David knew it was sin, Joseph Smith never admitted to the fact that it was wrong. In fact the practice was encouraged among Mormon leaders after Smith was gone.
Polygamy WAS the church of LDS!
Whereas, David's act was included in the Bible for the soul purpose of exposing his sin and showing the shame he felt and how he had to repent to God.
Smith died raping little girls and enjoying all the way to the grave. Huge difference between David's repentance and Smith pimp'n children!

True point ElderJoseph. Those arranged marriages were pretty awful things. And no excuses can make it right.
But when the King/Prophet David commited his sin of murder and adultery in the bible, did that mean that the entire way of religion of his people was false?
All Joseph smith set up was the framework for others to build on. Brigham young marrying 14 year olds is terrible. But it doesnt mean others cant choose to follow the teachings of christ, as taught in the lds church.

To compare david with joseph smith is nothing short of blasphemy. Joseph smith went out in a hail of gunfire in his inprisoment at carthage like a criminal trying to punisment, with his own gun smuggled into the prison for him and killing tow men before being shot and falling ut the window to his death!!....not such a noble martyr
