Shrine Circus Clowns are SCARY

During a peaceful demonstrations, scary Shrine Circus clowns and other Shrine employees harass demonstrators standing on public property.

I'm all for your right to protest but when ya infringe on other peoples rights you have gone too far. In to the vid, she was on private property, vandalizing their signs, video taping them without permission, and apparently illegally parked. Just because she differs in beliefs doesn't mean she can break the law.....go clownz. What a bitch

WRONG!

(1) She was not on private property - she was on the side of the road at all times.

(2) The clowns were vandalizing HER signs. Better watch it again - the clowns did not have any signs up. The signs all belonged to her. But it's good you recognized the vandalization of them - you got at least that much right.

(3) You don't need permission to videotape someone standing in public view.

(4) Where she parked was expressly approved by the Whitemarsh Township cops.

@soapielove you may have seen animals at the Shrine Circus but I'm sure you did not see them being beat or anything. And you keep saying the Shriners don't raise money for their hospitals you just assume that 22 hospitals run and help thousands of people without charging them or their family anything and the money to do this just comes out of thin air. You are not God so to say people will rot in hell for doing good things is not only ridiculas but not your place to judge.

@WaCCo80 I have a life, unlike the animals trapped in the circus. The Shriner Circus is doing evil in the name of "helping children" and that is so wrong. SO WRONG. In addition to that, the money they raise for the circus does NOT go to the burned children. Shriners will rot in hell for their dishonesty.

@WaCCo80 Whether or not the Shriners pay someone to abuse animals or do it themselves, the Shriners are responsible. Whether or not you want to admit it, animals in the circus lead sad, empty lives - most of their time in chains, cages, or small pens. The animals never get a day off, they never get to do anything natural, they never get to "go home." Every circus is abusive, some worse than others.

I've been to the Shrine Circus and seen it for myself - it's among the worst out there.

@soapielove You can get off your high horse and stop putting down other people for doing good. How much do you and your organization or work place or family give to help others? How many hours do you give doing everything from wearing clown makeup just to bring a smile to a sick child to working overtime to help people you don't know. I do those things on top of raising 5 kids and defending my country. Get a life!

@soapielove First off the Shriners have never abused animals the people claiming animals are being abused are talking about the circus' we hire to do the show not us. Also we are very into proper treatment of animals and when a circus trainers are found to be abusive we no longer do business with them. Also what is it with you? You want the name of Shrine Temples to try to prove they don't give the money raised to the hospitals. Yeah 22 large full scale hospitals must be free to run.

@WaCCo80 Post the name of the Shrine group you claim uses all proceeds from the circus to fund the hospitals please. We will request their 990's and prove you wrong.

@soapielove I'm not misinformed. We are an organization that provides free health care for children in 22 hospitals nationwide. No group of people have to do such a thing but we do out of our hearts and wallets. No matter how much good we do there will always be a few people who for whatever reason wanna try to find bad or wrong doing in our charitable deeds.

@soapielove Thats not true I'm a Shriner I know. Some Shrines aren't very big and put the circus on to stay afloat, but the large ones give all the profit to the hospitals.
