Abomination is not dead. He's harder to kill than that. He's still moving, too, at the end (I think). I'm willing to bet you'll see Abomination and Leader (the dude with the growing head--dumb name, I know) come back either in the the second Hulk movie (if there is one) but more likely as part of the team of evil villans when the Avengers movie comes out. Betty has always been a way to calm Hulk, so it was her doing it for Hulk, not Hulk being merciful. Hulk, on his own, would have kept SMASHING
