Prompted by the student voting in last November's election called Kids Voting at the MRH Early Childhood Center, students in Stacey Counts' kindergarten class began a discussion about flags. This led them to do research on flags around the world and the symbolism of the different images and colors. The students decided to make a flag for the ECC and worked in several committees (computer graphics, painters, cutters, sewing, etc.) to create the design and finished product. In this video, the students explain the flag's design elements. Enjoy!
