http://www.oregontile.net has information about the Oregon Tile, which happens once a year in Portland, OR. There are tournaments every weekend all around the US and Canada.

At 3:10 they alluded to being at a Scrabble tournament in Vancouver, BC. I'm going to one there in the next couple of weeks.

minute rounds for scrabbling on a computer would be a lot faster. no physical moving of tiles, no digging for tiles.

play kenji, adam, carl, james, conrad, etc 1 minute per side scrabble (less is almost impossible) and unless you're a nsa player you're losing the series. hell i'll put myself there too for wager sakes.
