The only thing that's laggy is the touchwiz home screen, because it allows for uncompiled web code to be executed on the fly. Disable it and install SPB mobile shell, or wait until HTC's TouchFlo3d or SenseUI gets ported...then it will speed up :).

why would u put a screen like that on such a shity interface.that this is choppy as heck.i have the nexus one with the oled and i cant see anything in the sun i wonder how this one stacks up

trust me, it's the other way around, 6.1 is smoother than 6.5. Try flashing a 6.5.x full/ lite rom, it's much quicker
