Later that same day, in the evening to be precise, and the A1 giant strolled back in to Kings Cross after a brisk trip to York and back. The light was interesting to film in. The crew and passengers were buzzing from an exciting day. It looked like a really good day out for all concerned. During filming the event I realised that the Heritage phenomonem is truly special. In these tough times of recession the people here were happy and fulfilled, doing what the British do so well, enjoying what is the moment. The achievement of building Tornado and a day out ending at KX behind the loco was to be savoured. The driver is a true star, making time for everyone and they are leaving as very happy customers. Doom and gloom is for tomorrow, Tornado was today. What a great time! Please leave a comment and if you were there even better! I hope this clip gives you an idea of the good atmosphere at the end of the day. We still have to make a sale of a shower fitting to one of the crew! and yes they get a great discount.
