Anyway...
I agree with your assessments. When I first moved to Philly I liked that it was a cheap ripoff of NYC (because NYC is the BEST) but I quickly realized that this is not a city that never sleeps. In fact, it goes to sleep at 7pm!
And the weekends - especially the "old" South Street - are filled with people from Camden, Cherry Hill and Bryn Mawr. Even at Christmastime you can go down to Market St. on a weekday and not have too many people.
But it's a fun place to visit.

@kingdomofchrissmith Yep! You know your stuff that's for sure! The pizza place I used to go to (oddly enough named NYPD) was closed on a Sunday at 5 PM! - Blasphemy!
And let's not forget that lovely (READ:HIDEOUS) South Eastern Pennsylvanian accent.

After a series of very bizarre dreams I just woke up to respond to some of your comments on the BC channel and clicked back to this video. Man, those cuts really threw me for a loop! The shot is the same but it's a different part of the city or inside a building. There was lots of squinting and double takes!
Interesting observations, too. I had a good time!
