Barack Obama was wrong during a father's day speech in which he implied and stated that black men are among the most irresponsible fathers in America. Black men are challenging Barack Obama, stating that he was wrong in his assertion.

Black college students begin protesting the use of terms like "baby mama", "lynching party", "Osama", "terrorist fist jab", and other racist terminology used to describe Michelle and Barack Obama.

Dr. Watkins is a regular guest on CNN, FOX News, BET, CBS, ESPN, and other national media. He was the source of some controversy with Bill O'Reilly from the O'Reilly Factor, and has been a guest on other Fox Shows such as Hannity & Colmes. He has also publicly disputed Bill Cosby for stating that african-american youth and the hip hop generation are not very productive. Watkins wrote "What if George Bush were a Black Man?" and "Everything you ever wanted to know about college", which he argues is an appeal to the MTV generation to look past 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, TI, Kanye West and others to explore their educational potential. Dr. Boyce is a Finance Professor at Syracuse University and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He recently spoke at The University of Kentucky and demanded that they increase their numbers of black students and faculty. He was also one of the instrumental black leaders behind the scenes during the cases with the Jena 6, Don Imus and Michael Vick. He worked closely with Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson, appearing on the air with them to suggest strategies to get Imus off the air. It was Dr. Watkins' idea to challenge his corporate sponsors that led to Imus' dismissal. He was also outspoken on Barry Bonds' situation and the OJ Simpson trial. Watkins argues that Barry Bonds might be a jerk, but his alleged indiscretion is no worse than the evidence against Lance Armstrong for the use of performance enhancing drugs. He made his comments on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, The Wendy Williams Experience, CNN, FOX, BET, CBS and other networks.

  • For one thing, I notice that some Black Folks with a platform still do the same thing we have been doing every since the death of Dr. Martin Luther King, "We down each other for normal differences."

The thing is, we will have differences.. We will have our faults, just like all people, no matter what the culture or Race. Now lets not get it wrong, injustice is injustice; therefore, we should not agree with any foolishness of any Race of people!

  • @Oyin26 I understand, some don't care, some are kept out of a child's life due to the system and the misandry mentality of some of the mothers and some fight as hard as they can to do whats right.

  • @srhabb children deserve both their parents, i was blessed with a wonderful black father. please do not think that i am speaking about all black fathers in my statement, i know many many black men (including my own) who devoted themselves to their children. i love my father, he always put his children first and he and my mother are great parents.

  • @Oyin26 I totally agree. I'm a single father of twins. My sons mother might call once in a blue moon but that means nothing to them. She walked out when they were only about 5 months old.

  • The only reason why black fathers who don't live in the home or any father for that matter interact more with their abandoned children is to work their way out of the hefty child support payment. Some people don't do whats right until there is a devastating consequence to force them to do it.

  • i agree that was insensitive...but i really thinks there's a problem when so many black men live away from home...its nice that some keep in contact but that's not enough...you need to physically be there for your children

  • @armyaviationproud tell me what rock have you been under? and as for that fact thats like saying most casino owners are native americans...but youre entitled to your own opinion...

p.s. read up on where blacks were prior to slavery and rethink that statement

  • @rashad1595 Ok, so what about black people in their entire history prior to some of their usage as slaves during colonial times? Also, what about after the Civil War? I'm not racist myself, but black people use slavery as an excuse for their own failures. Every race and most countries have been slaves as some point in their histories to another nation or group.

As for the specifics of this remark concerning black fathers, black men are more likely to be poor fathers than men of other races. Fact

  • "Black fathers that don't live in the home are more likely to interact with kids! "LMAO!!!!!! "than any other ethnic group!!!!!" LMFAO!!!!

  • @cubaquem lol crazy redneck. i can see you saying this while chewing tobacco and holding a handful of beef jerky. go rape your sister. "blah blah inventors and scientists are white!!" 1. youre right because its kinda hard to be a famous inventor when youre a slave... 2. the fact that they were white has litterally nothing to do with you because youre just plain ignorant...troll lol lol lol lol
