  • My favorite Dan Fogelberg song. This to me is Dan at the heights of his creativity as a poet, philosopher, composer and musician. Thany you very much Lana.

  • im happy you have enjoyed it...and this is one of many of my favorite songs off the double album. overall i think innocent age was a well expressed and built collection of music.

  • Its a shame that modern musicians are to STUPID to write music like this anymore.

  • @jdlikins mine too....a poet for the ages....

  • I want to dance. :)

  • Sunday Morning, Asheville North Carolina, August 28, 2011 Thank You Dan Fogelberg. The Innocent Age is simply put an absolutely brilliant song cycle covering the human experience from cradle to grave. It would have been an excellent choice for the soundtrack to the movie "The Tree of Life" by Terrence Malick.

  • so brightfull song, i love it. today is the 30 year birthday of the whole amazing and beautifull album.thanks dan for write it and share it to the world.

  • When I was little, I thought he was singing "And the lights divine, divine." instead of "And the lights divine divide." lol. I have grown up loving Dan, and I miss his presence as a fellow musician. Miss you Dan.

  • I find it amazing that, with the exception of "Part of the Plan" and holiday playings of "Another Auld Lang Syne", his music is all but forgotten on radio. On the other hand, "Free Bird" gets an almost daily playing.

  • Best Album EVER. I wore the vinyl out so I bought the CD

  • Were there more poetic lyrics ever written? I think not.

  • The master / what memories. love his music.

  • Dan was a one in a million musician, a literal musical genius. It will be some time before there is another who is of his caliber, if ever.
