Drawing Abarai Renji (Bleach 466)

Woop! Finally made a drawing... It's been awhile lol. Did "simple shading" for a couple reasons.

1.) I'm rusty, didn't want to ruin it by trying to over complicating the shading.

2.) If I was to go all out on the shading in his hair, it would completely take away the from Renji, and it would have been a drawing of nothing but his hair, lol.

But yeah, that's about it. Simple drawing, simple shading. Good warm up after being gone for awhile. Doesn't it remind anyone else of Ichigo when he had his hair longer? It reminds me completely of the Ichigo picture with long hair I did awhile back... Maybe I'm just crazy.

@Names76 oh btw man real quick. how do you get those dark areas ''like his bandana/headband'' i mean. its perfectly filled. its equally dark. is it something on photoshop, like color boost, or just filling, or do you use sharpies? ... lol sry for the questions, im just Frustrated on these black areas, they take forever.

@AwesomeAnimeArtist Yeah, the black areas on this one were done in Sharpie. I can usually get the black effect using 4b-6b pencils, but then it reflects light when I take the picture, so I've started just using ink now.
