  • what is the point of wrapping the ski? just to keep it cleaner all winter? also, i detail my ski before storing it, will the wrap mess up my wax job?

    kinda seems like it would give you sort of a greenhouse effect and keep the temp inside the wrap a little higher maybe? it rarely gets too far below freezing herein Georgia, so this may be a good option for me and my ski?

  • @LeadSlinger89 The main reason I do it is to keep the snow and Ice off of it. Good point about the greenhouse effect but it's still going to be fairly cold regardless so I don't want moisture getting in and freezing. In the past I've had damage to the vinyl parts because of it. Not sure what heating the plastic would do to a wax job. You may just want to use some bungee cords around the whole thing in that case.
