@the24th1 I guess I kinda get you. In 1998, there was a time Undertaker did a worked shoot complaining about his status with WWF and his jealousy of Stone Cold's success. I guess it came from his heart but not without WWF's consent and they suggested the topic.

@the24th1 Thanks but I'm still a bit confused. Wasn't CM Punk speaking from the heart but at the same time very much in character? So a worked shoot is basically a wrestler doing a shoot with the promotion's authority, am I right?

@Mr1131988 a shoot is not usually a promo, a shoot is when a wrestler does an unplanned and unscripted rant about the wrestling buisness usually breaking kayfabe....a work shoot is a planned promo made to seem as if it were a real shoot.....thats the difference between punk and austin.....austins SHOOT was the real deal and how he felt, punks was scripted and fake

@the24th1 Dude I'm beginning to get confused. What's the difference between a worked shoot from a shoot? I thought a shoot simply is a promo where the wrestler makes reference to real life basically breaking the fourth wall, blurring the lines between reality and storyline.
