@jnncbuhyc I just blend with my finger or sometimes I rub some charcoal off onto a a bit of rough paper and pick it up from there and blend it onto the paper. Yes you can use charcoal on canvas but use a slight grain rather than an heavy grain and the grain on canvaswill really show through quite heavy. You can draw with pencil on canvasbut again use a smooth grain....Roger

@Picturedraw: You will find that there are those who like to sit behind their parents computer and rip apart those who have talent, which you do have. Altdiy probably can't even draw stick fingers, so disregard comments from people like that, simply not worth your time. Shitty drawing it isn't, trust me on that, you did a great job.

great work my friend ,ofcourse i envy u :) on this great control to draw a pic like this with the charcoal , so but i find it really hard to make blending effect with the charcoal , it's not even compared with the pencil, plus i wanna know , if canvas is a good medium to draw on with charcoal or graphite or even pencils ?? i'll be thankful if u can answer me
