He knew Holyfield would knock everyone out because he was knocking every one out! so he DQ him out of no wear without any warning with a few seconds left in the round? weird. Another disgusting robbery and corruption is Roy Jones Jr vs the korean in the 1988 olympics.

@kkhwt yup shady corrupt judges, this was a clear fix from the ref, he didn't even move in to break he was like 5 feet away and just standing there lol, this made me sad and angry watching it, but to see Evander so calm and contained after being done wrong man you gotta respect him as a man. He never bitched and threw a tantrum because he knew in his heart he won, he has no insecurity at all.

It's interesting; Kevin Barry may have won, but because he had been declared the victim of a knockout, by international amateur boxing regulations, he couldn't fight again for 30 days! SO his finals opponent won by forfeit; his finals opponent, by an amazing coincidence, hailed from Yugoslavia... just like the ref that DQ's Holyfield!

The Ref DQ'ed him because he hit him after the low punch. But in retrospect he was already throwing the left hook when the ref started his motion to break them apart after the low punch.
