excellent drumming jesus fucking christ AWESOME

@pwnage51 totally agree with you

@jeffkahl yes. Most jazz drummer solos that occur in the middle of a song are in perfect time. They're just so damn good at playing that they can displace phrases to make them go over bar lines and seem off time. If you had it on sheet music, you would be able to see that the solo is in perfect time. It's quite remarkable.

astonishing

His technique is ridiculas!!!
-
damn! is that real time at 0:48?!
-
Probably the best Fuck'n Solo i've ever heard, and only 19,000 views, what is this world coming to? Meanwhile Justin Beiber hits his big 600,000,000th view .....sigh
-
HOLY SHIT
-
1st I was gonna say WHAT bass drum cause you can barely see any of that and the solo itself is mostly hands. Wats deep is the subtlety of his overall bass drum touch period

Wow as much as I like Buddy Rich I've never seen him as technically proficient AND sweet! This seems like Bud to some exponentially higher level
Rufus doing some of the fastest and best crossovers that i've ever seen. He played with both Ellington and Basie and seemed to be kind of overlooked and underrated but was a really great drummer, fantastic soloist.
