This is a butiful song by Vilhjálmur Vilhjálmsson (but song by Björgvin Halldórsson after Vilhjálm's death). You raise me up is not the originale song but Söknuður is and if you know you rase me up then lissen and see if you can´t hear it.

Btw. the lyric to this song was written in 1932 in the form of a poem by Johann Jonsson... an icelandic writter...

how about who cares who wrote the original? several arrangements of beautiful music came out of the idea, and i dont see any of the artist arguing about it.
