One of the secrets to making a great living doing work you love is letting go of your false identity (the source of anxiety, worry & limitation) & connecting with your true identity, who you really are. Jamie Smart share's a powerful visual metaphor to show you how.

  • See if you catch the meaning of this guy you'll just want to kick him in the teeth...

  • some great inforamtion here thanks

  • I've found true fulfillment comes from appreciation and contribution. Not so much doing what we want but rather providing what others need. God Bless

  • if doing what you love exploits others and creates unneeded suffering should people still do it? BECAUSE THEY LOVE IT?

  • Really nice video...keep up the good work...one of the genuine videos i've come across on you tube...felt good Jamie....thank u....

  • @whicheverwayable I think its those who equip themselves with it that make it mainly about money. Therefore,NLP's accessibility even though an advantage,is also its disadvantage in the hands of some. But isn't that the case with everything that has a demand? That some people will sell passionately led by a genuine desire to improve lives while some will be corporate and led by a profiteering mind (at the expense of quality)? I would criticise the teachers (the 'gurus') not the subject they teach.

  • @MzeeMoja1 I respect your opinion about it being relevant in everyday life as it is accessible, more so than other forms of therapy. However it is also mainly about money. I used to be a proponent of NLP and actually quite like Jamie Smart, however i despise other 'Gurus' in NLP who talk absolute drivel and make millions from doing so. I also use some techniques myself but don't call it NLP anymore. I'm all for helping people, but £thousands for a NLP course isn't helping anyone but the guru.

  • Lovely stuff! Thank you

  • @whicheverwayable: how does NLP being "full of people making seven figure sums without saying anything that isn't already known" make it one of the worst? And what is that which is already known? Can you give a credible explanation as this one just says you have an issue with NLP making money for people as opposed to this is why it's useless. You may be comparing NLP with contemporary forms of therapy but while it may have some similarities, in my view, NLP is much more relevant to everyday life!

  • Cognitive bias can be complex and often needs to be addressed to get the most out of life. Don't be fooled into thinking that NLP is the only method to address this, infact it's actually one of the worst as it is full of people making seven figure sums without actually saying anything that isn't already known, a big con really
