Satellite Formation Flying Using Laser Ranging

This experiment shows how a flock of satellites can fly in formation using laser ranging. One satellite is designated as the leader, and the remaining satellites arrange themselves in a formation with respect to the leader satellite while measuring line-of-sight only using laser range finders. The leader satellite drags the entire formation behind it.
