After countless listens, countless years, listening over and over and over to his life's work, this song has ended up becoming my favourite. A timeless classic. Well, this and Levon, they never, ever get tiring to listen to.

Tutti noi kids abbiamo conosciuto ragazzine "sporche" nel senso meno letterale del termine (?)...Ma Bernie Taupin sembra troppo drastico nel distruggere la credibilità e le virtù di tali esempi femminili...per poterci avere una "storia" ... E poi Elton sembra convinto nel cantare che..."scommetto che è un anno che non si lava" ...Boh, gli Inglesi a volte sono incomprensibili.
