  • Slvia plath was mentally ill before she met Hughes, you can't blame Hughes for her death

  • @bbbbakerbbbb158 You are absolutely right, but he certainly didn't help matters now did he?

  • Happy death anniversary, Sylvia.

  • I really want to watch this movie but i am afraid it is too heartbreaking. I bookmarked it several days ago and somehow i can´t get to it. Sylvia´s story is so sad...

  • I love her........she died in a time when a womans depression was not taken as seriously and post-partem depression wasn't known as well as it is now :(

  • @bbbbakerbbbb158 plath meets hughes, marries hughes, she kills herself. Hughes' next partner kills herself and their daughter...and you say you cant blame hughes?

  • @afiluvr94

I kind of disagree with my previous statement now too lol...my english teacher told me that, now I'm questioning it.

  • @dongtian00

    I disagree.

  • Happy Birthday, Sivvy! You're my favorite poet!

  • I hate to say it but a cult has arisen around the death of Sylvia Plath and not nearly as much attention has been given to her poetry. That's a shame and a loss however I do understand why this type of death of a great talent could become a focal point of interest. The tragedy was that there would be no more poetry from this unique woman. She had a tortured, brilliant, creative mind. A tremendous talent that's been lost.

  • This is the third time i've watched this movie on here. I'm absolutely obsessed with Sylvia Plath!
