I was there right after the attack was called off by Clinton. You talk about a bunch of pissed off navy seals. I was feeling sorry for those poor SOB's that were going to be the victims. That place is an absolute paradise. You fly along the shoreline and you see nothing but burned out or otherwise destroyed mansions from the Papa DOC days. I spent 5 months there. Flew helicopters all over the place during medevac missions.

Well, I am glad to see the "island" is big enough for a decent runway :-)
We are going to Cap Haitien in late December, and I wouldn't want to end up in the ocean upon landing :-)
