You know, if people didn't put some shit up on YouTube, no one would hear it, and bands would hardly get attention. Even WITH it on YouTube, it doesn't have many views. I don't understand YouTube's Strike/Copyright system.

@GSRbutterfly91 And SOPA is going to make it a whole lot worse... When I go to check out a band, I don't just go buy their cd. Why waste money if I'm not going to like it right? So I'll either youtube some songs, or download, then if I like it, I will buy it. If SOPA goes through low fan base bands are going to find it that much harder to get noticed.

@DoubleDisplay That's half true- a short preview of an Ayreon song was enough to intrigue me into listening... but, without hearing the whole song I wasn't just going to buy the album on impulse... Maybe if I'd seen it lying around a record store, but, this is the US- you have to get lucky just to find fucking Stratovarius on the shelf...
