@robtul12 put the flame over top of the bowl and puff until you are smoking, pipe smoke varies, the kind that ive smoked is syrupy and kindof spicey, not like burning my tounge but it has spice

Dude, what do pipes taste like? I have tried cigarettes, cigars, and hookah, but never pipe. How do you smoke them? Thanks!

@robtul12 They taste like whatever the tobacco you're smoking tastes like. Personally, it's my favorite form of smoking (I've tried everything you've mentioned, I hate cigarettes, don't really like hookah, enjoy good cigars, but nothing compares to pipe tobacco). Even cheap tobacco tastes awesome. I prefer English blends with Virginia and Latakia tobaccos, personally. You have to pack the tobacco into a bowl and light it. It takes a while to learn how to keep a bowl lit, but it's worth it.

Welcome to the online pipe community. Nice starter pipe. You definitely have the pipe lighting technique down. Cool idea to mix those blends. By the way I fin tinned tobaccos are tough to light when u first open them. They dry out more after you u open the tin. Cheers!

@pipemannow Thanks for the tip. I noticed it wasn't as bad last night as the first time I smoked it or the second. This was only my third time smoking that particular tobacco.
