  • WONDERFUL!!

Ciccolini is one of the greatest pianists/musicians of our time.

    Geert Dehoux, pianist.

  • a very remarkable piece, one of the thousand jewels by schubert, as concise and brief (but not as sad) as his life.

  • oh wow, what a fantastic piece of music! anybody here with the sheets?

  • beautiful!!!! i am truly amazed.

  • Talent that is not found in this world. A pianist, musician and intellect that cannot be touched. Simply amazing.

  • Franz Schubert played this Walz on Paul Kupelwieser's wedding in 1826. According to the notes, the music was never written down by the composer, but passed on from generation to generation by ear. Finally in 1943, Mautner Markhof (born Kupelwieser) asked the composer Richard Strauss, a friend of the family, to transcribe it. The composer rose galantly to the task, adding a few refinements of his own, as Schubert connoiseurs are quick to point out.

  • @aksmarket Ce n'est pas plutôt Richard Strauss qui a transcrit-arrangé cette valse de Schubert conservée dans la bibliothèque d'une famille autrichienne et jamais éditée jusque là ?

  • This is no Schubert. This is Valentin Silvestrov

  • Aldo you've done it again!

  • Amazing!!!
