let me tell you Ireland, Fine Gael/Fianna Fail are the same fuckin thing, and had Fine Gael got into power in 07 they would have done fuck all different, but the Irish population will soon find this out in due time anyway. Instead of an Egyptian style revolution, they will just go out and vote for another career politician, who doesn't give two fucks about them, just feeds them a good bullshit story, and to think great men like James Connolly gave his life for this

It took Fine Gael less than a month to renege on 3 campaign promises: 1/ unilateral burden sharing to the Jr. Bondholders, (meaning they would take some of the hit as opposed to the taxpayer taking it all), 2/ a new program for government 3/ reduction of 15 Jr. Ministers to 12. 1 month later: 1/ scrapped 2/ continuation of at least 2 years fianna fail plan 3/ 15 ministers still. Enda Kenny is glad he didn't become Taoiseach in 07 as the country would now hate him as much as they hate Cowen.
