  • What a GREAT video. Really thinking about a TT with a J3300... Whats your thoughts ? Check out my Flying Vids. Cheers

  • @OzParkPilot - Sorry it took so long to respond. I think a J3300 is a great engine especially with that direct drive, but I prefer the 912S due to the fact that the rebuild tme is a lot longer and I do a lot of cross country flying so I don't want to have to rely on AvGas only. 912 you can run Auto Petro and AvGas. Some out of the way places would be nearly impossible to locate AvGas. You get more performance out of the J3300 but you'll get more headache as well. Hope this helped you.

  • Thanks for the comments. Hopefully these vids will help get us through all the no fly days this winter

  • If you are into flying, there are few vids that will better this one! I feel like I've been for a fly!

    Thanks for the ride!

  • Do you fly? If so, what and where?

  • Great video. I'm building a Tornado 2S with a Jabiru 3300, in Seattle.

  • Might I ask...

The Titan is remarkably similar to an old and obscure polish aircraft design. Do you have trouble with elevator authority with the engine set at higher RPM's during take-off or during rapid and complex manoeuvres requiring a sudden power/RPM increase?

    Regards,

    James.

  • Thanks for the fly-over this morning. Wow it's FAST! Sounds awesome too. My Flip was at the shop. Let me know when you come again and I'll get some video of the blue streak.

  • Great video and a super place to fly it looks like. Music is right on the spot for this type of flying. Good spots to put it down also (if you had to).

  • Are those helmet scrubs on the windshield, or stains? lol

  • Thanks for the response - Yes, ordering an S 11 as I fancy taking my dog and wife ( both are small and light ! ) but not sure I have the time to build so thinking of buying one SndH and importing it. Living in Australia, he J3300 makes sence but do like the idea of the ease of the 912A ! We had one in our Searey which ran smooth but searey was very underpowered !! Its not been sold ! thanks

  • wow awesome video, awesome plane. I wish I could afford a tornado....
