@thedarkblaze09 It is a brass model by Overland Models. They are all sold out now though. Only 63 were made.  BUT MTH makes them now and they do look very good. Street Price for the MTH is $210-230

No they were released in 2003 and became a regular runner in 2005

Can you take sound decoders out?

I am 9 years old and I don't have a dcc layout and I wanted to get the MTH SD70ACE with dcc and sound, I don't need both.

Yes you can. But with the MTH engine you do not need to remove the decoder. It will run on a regular DC system and you can have sound.

Yep Atheran,MTH, and Overland make heritage units in Ho scale . look on EBay.

The detail on those overland engines is incredible, super high quality-- Ive never had anything better than Athearn or proto 2000-- no comparison. especially in the price-lol another case of you get what you pay for. Very nice.
