I grew up in Irvington only about 20 miles from Rough River, it was our old "skipping school" hangout! A beautiful park, lots of great scenery all around Breckinridge County, my heart is full of fond memories of the place. Great video, it's fun to see the sites from the air, Brandenburg, the bridge, Rough River, thanks for the memories. :-)

What does it take to fly? Does Scottsburg airport offer classes? I live in Scottsburg it would be great if they offered classes.

Warfox, tecnically if you fly a single seat under 254 lbs with 5 gallons of gas or less and a few other limitations I won't get into here you don't have to have lessons or a certification per the FAA. That doesn't mean that is the smart thing. Get Lessons if you want to fly anything, period!
There are lessons at Scottsburg from ultralights to sport pilot.
